چکیده
The optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a noninvasive imaging technology which aims at blood vessels in retina by studying decorrelation signals between multiple sequential OCT B-scans captured the same cross section. Obtaining various vascular plexuses including deep and superficial choriocapillaris, possible, helps understanding ischemic processes that affect different layers. OCTA safe modality does not use dye. also fast as it can capture high-resolution images just seconds. Additionally, used assessment of structure flow. provides anatomic details addition to flow data. These are important tissue perfusion, specifically, absence apparent morphological change. Using these anatomical along with perfusion data, could be predicting several ophthalmic diseases. In this paper, we review techniques their ability detect diagnose retinal nerve diseases, such diabetic retinopathy (DR), anterior optic neuropathy (AION), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, artery occlusion vein occlusion. Then, discuss main features disadvantages using method.

Evaluation of Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography Findings in Patients with Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion
Purpose: To analyze the correlation of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) findings with visual acuity (VA) in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO). Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 20 eyes of 20 patients with unilateral BRVO involving the macula referred to the ophthalmology clinic of Rassoul Akram Hospital. OCTA imaging was conducted for all patie...

Studies have proven the relationship between cutaneous vasculature abnormalities and dermatological disorders, but to image vasculature noninvasively <italic<in vivo</italic<, advanced optical imaging techniques are required. In this study, we imaged a palm of a healthy volunteer and three subjects with cutaneous abnormalities with photoacoustic tomography (PAT) and optical coherence tomography...
متن کاملOptical Coherence Tomography Angiography in Retinal Vascular Diseases and Choroidal Neovascularization
Purpose. To assess the ability of optical coherence tomography-angiography (OCT-A) to show and analyze retinal vascular patterns and the choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in retinal vascular diseases. Methods. Seven eyes of seven consecutive patients with retinal vascular diseases were examined. Two healthy subjects served as controls. All eyes were scanned with the SD-OCT XR Avanti (Optovue I...
متن کاملOptical Coherence Tomography Angiography
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a noninvasive approach that can visualize blood vessels down to the capillary level. With the advent of high-speed OCT and efficient algorithms, practical OCTA of ocular circulation is now available to ophthalmologists. Clinical investigations that used OCTA have increased exponentially in the past few years. This review will cover the history ...
متن کاملOptical coherence tomography angiography
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was one of the biggest advances in ophthalmic imaging. Building on that platform, OCT angiography (OCTA) provides depth resolved images of blood flow in the retina and choroid with levels of detail far exceeding that obtained with older forms of imaging. This new modality is challenging because of the need for new equipment and processing techniques, current l...
